Customer Service Representative: Our agency is the perfect place for agents holding a property and casualty license to expand their horizon. If you are outgoing and self-motivated with excellent people skills, this position may be right for you. We offer excellent pay options with benefits. Sales Associate Agent: We welcome entrepreneurs who desire a career in sales. We offer excellent compensation packages and a tremendous opportunity in the fast-paced world of sales. If you want to be in insurance sales, Carter Glass Insurance would love to have you on our team.

Commercial Lines Representative: This position involves assisting in the production of new commercial lines accounts and the retention of renewing commercial lines accounts in keeping with agency goals. Provides field services to designated accounts in support of agent activities and maintains high service standards. Secures and submits required renewal underwriting information. Processes change confirmations and customer requested cancellations. Actively solicits increases in coverage or rounding out accounts through sales to clients at every service contact. Actively seeks referrals from current client base to solicit for new business prospects.

  • Must be aggressive/assertive, a self-starter with the ability to influence others.
  • Should have demonstrated effective presentation skills through both verbal and written communications. Must have all licenses as required by the State Department of Insurance to sell insurance in the state of North Carolina.

Administrative Assistant:  Detail-oriented individual, who is able to multitask and prioritize, needed for entry level insurance position.  This position consists of administrative work that involves preparing proposals and invoices, handling remittance, proofing new business and renewal policies, and servicing and retaining accounts.

Front Desk Administrative Receptionist:  This position handles a large call volume, processing of payments and a variety of other administrative tasks. This position requires strong customer service skills and a professional communication style. The ideal candidate will have a knowledge of Quickbooks and all Microsoft Office programs.  Must be punctual, have a can-do attitude and be willing to take on challenges and new responsibilities with a smile. Must be a multi-tasker with great attention to detail.  Prior experience in an office/professional environment preferred.
